English Essay: My Grandpa My Influencer

I have someone that very close with me. He is my grandpa, my role model. He used to be an army member in the past. That's why I want to become an army like him. He's so cool, nice to me, and has thousands of stories to tell.

He couldn't choose his life path. His childhood was difficult. He and his six siblings were raised by his mother alone because his father was dead. And in his 17, he joined army. In 1979, my grandpa was sent to Timor Timur War. 

In the Timor War, he was shot twice in his legs and back. That was awful. But look now. Among my grandpa's friends, I think his life is the best. On his wall, he has a lot of medal of honor in military with president's sign on it. That's why I proud from him.
